DiwaliLight Privacy Policy

DiwaliLight is an offline-first Diwali planning companion. We do not collect personal data, run analytics, or transmit any usage information off your device.

What is stored

All preferences, custom preparation items, saved greeting drafts, and optional private reflections are stored locally in Application Support using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly use the system share sheet to send a greeting text.

What is not collected

• No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporters with personal data.
• No location, no contacts, no microphone, no camera, no photos, no health data, no Bluetooth, no iOS Calendar API access.
• No advertising in v1. No third-party SDKs in v1.

Notifications

Local notifications are scheduled only when you explicitly enable a reminder. Permission is requested at that moment, not at first launch.

Deleting your data

Use Settings > Local data > Clear all local data to remove every record this app stores. Reinstalling the app also clears it.
