Summary

FinanceFlash is a private, offline financial-literacy micro-learning app. Lessons you complete, missed-scenario entries, streak days, glossary entries, and your non-advice acknowledgement all live on this device. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics, and no tracking in v1.

What stays on this device

Per-topic progress and per-lesson completion records.
Missed-scenario entries (for spaced-repetition-lite review).
Streak days and best-streak counter.
Daily concept (today's lesson) cache.
Glossary entries seeded from the app bundle.
Settings and reminder preferences (nickname, daily-nudge time).
Non-advice disclaimer acknowledgement (versioned).

What we do not collect

No income, debt amount, net worth, credit score, age, employer, financial-account number, IBAN, SSN, or TIN.
No bank linking. No transaction import. No Plaid, Yodlee, Tink, or Open Banking integration.
No credit-report or credit-score access.
No portfolio import. No brokerage integration. No real-time market data.
No contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos, health data, or Bluetooth.
No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
No AI tutor. No LLM. No on-device or remote inference.

Notifications

FinanceFlash can send a single optional daily concept reminder at a time you choose. The notification permission is requested only when you turn the reminder on in Progress > Daily concept nudge, not at first launch. All reminders stay on this device.

Purchases

If you buy Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple's StoreKit. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details.

Deleting data

Progress > Delete all local data removes every lesson completion, missed-scenario entry, streak day, daily-concept record, glossary entry, and the disclaimer acknowledgement. Premium entitlement is preserved so you do not have to repurchase. A confirmation step protects against accidental taps. You can do this at any time without uninstalling.
