Shelf Ledger Support

Shelf Ledger is a private home catalog and lending tracker. Common questions:

I scanned a barcode but no metadata appeared.

Shelf Ledger does not look up barcodes against any external service. It captures the barcode string for you to use as your own identifier. Manual entry remains the fastest way to add an item.

I want to share my catalog with my partner.

v1 keeps the catalog on this device only. CSV export (Premium) lets you share the data manually.

I tapped Capture Text and got partial text.

Capture is best effort. Edit the captured text before saving. Shelf Ledger never fills your catalog without your confirmation.

I returned an item but the reminder still fired.

Reminders are scheduled at save time. If your system was offline you may see a delayed notification. Open the loan and re-tap Return; the active loan reminder is cancelled immediately.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Local data → Delete all local data. This permanently removes every item, shelf, tag, loan, wishlist entry, and pending reminder.
