By downloading, installing, or using TradieAU ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
TradieAU is a business productivity tool that assists Australian tradespeople with quoting, invoicing, job management, expense tracking, and trade-specific calculations. The App is designed as a reference aid and administrative tool only.
The App includes trade-specific calculators referencing Australian/New Zealand standards (AS/NZS). These calculators are reference tools only and are provided for estimation and guidance purposes. They are NOT a substitute for professional engineering calculations or design, licensed trade professional judgement, formal compliance assessments, or certified testing and verification.
You must independently verify all calculator results before relying on them for any purpose, including but not limited to material ordering, installation, quoting, or compliance certification. Calculator results may contain errors, may not account for all site-specific conditions, and may not reflect the most current version of applicable standards.
The App generates invoices and tracks expenses for administrative convenience only. TradieAU is NOT an accounting application and does NOT provide tax advice. GST calculations are provided for convenience and may not be accurate for your specific circumstances. Tax invoice formatting is intended to assist with ATO compliance but does NOT guarantee compliance. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax obligations, ABN usage, and GST registration status. Always consult a qualified accountant, tax agent, or BAS agent for tax-related matters.
Any compliance certificate templates or generation features are provided as convenience tools only. The App does NOT certify, endorse, or guarantee that any work meets regulatory requirements. You are solely responsible for ensuring all work complies with applicable Australian standards, state/territory legislation, and licensing requirements.
CSV exports are provided in formats intended to be compatible with third-party accounting software. We do NOT guarantee compatibility, accuracy of account code mapping, or correct import into any third-party system. Always verify imported data with your accountant.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW):
(a) THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
(b) COSMIC PRODUCTION D.O.O. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: loss of profits, revenue, or business; property damage or personal injury arising from use of calculator results; penalties, fines, or liabilities arising from incorrect tax invoices or GST calculations; losses arising from incorrect material calculations, cable sizing, pipe sizing, or any other trade calculation.
(c) IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
(d) Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability under the Australian Consumer Law for consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
You acknowledge and agree that: you hold all necessary trade licences, permits, and insurance; you are responsible for verifying all calculations, quotes, invoices, and documents; you will not rely solely on the App for safety-critical decisions; you are responsible for maintaining accurate business records and meeting your tax obligations; you will maintain appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance for your trade.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
The App stores data locally on your device and optionally syncs via Apple iCloud. We do NOT operate servers or collect your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. For Australian users, nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies consumer guarantee rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
