UnitShift Privacy Notice

UnitShift is an offline unit converter. Your input numbers, favorites, history, and settings stay on this device unless you explicitly copy or share them via the system share sheet.

Data we do not collect

• We do not run any analytics SDK.
• We do not send your conversions, favorites, history, or settings to any server.
• We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in this version.
• We do not collect contacts, location, microphone, calendar, health, or background-refresh data.
• We do not fetch fiat conversion rates or any other network data in this version.

Permissions we ask for

UnitShift v1 requests no system permissions.

Conversions

All unit conversions run on this device using Apple's Foundation framework and bundled typed conversion formulas. There is no machine-learning model, no natural-language parser, and no third-party formula evaluator.

Sharing

Copying or sharing a conversion via the system share sheet sends the text to the destination you pick (Files, Mail, Messages, etc.). What happens to that copy is governed by that destination's own privacy notice.

Delete your data

Settings → Local data → Delete all local data removes every favorite, history row, and setting. Deleting the app from your device also removes any local data.

Children

UnitShift is a general-purpose utility, not directed at children under 13.
