Meridian Chapters: Hotel Music collects no personal data. We do not track you, do not profile you, do not sell or share your information, and do not use analytics, crash reporters, or advertising SDKs inside the app. The only data flows that exist are (a) Google Play processing your subscription purchases, which we do not see, and (b) your device streaming music from our servers, which we do not log against your identity.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, calendar, advertising identifier, or any usage analytics. The app stores small preferences (selected channel, sleep timer length, preview state) on your device only and never transmits them to us.
When you start a subscription to a channel, Google Play (Google LLC, Mountain View, USA) handles the entire purchase: payment method, billing, renewals, refunds, and tax. We receive only an opaque purchase token from Google so the app can verify your entitlement on your device. We never see your name, address, payment details, or Google Account email. Google's processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.
When you tap a channel, your device fetches the radio stream directly from our content delivery network (Meridian Chapters CDN). The CDN sees your IP address and a generic User-Agent string, in the same way any website you visit does. We do not link these connections to a user identity; logs are kept only for short-term anti-abuse purposes (rate limiting, blocking malicious traffic) and rotated within 30 days.
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, A/B testing, or crash reporting SDKs. The only third-party code we ship is Google Play Billing (required for in-app subscriptions) and AndroidX media playback libraries. Neither sends any data about you to us or to advertisers.
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
Because we do not hold any personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, rectify, port, or delete. If you have questions, contact support@meridianchapters.com and we will respond within 30 days. Subscription, payment, and refund questions should be directed to Google Play.
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and bump the effective date. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's release notes.
